The coils come in a tin box that has a cardboard sleeve over it. The tin box is really nice and it can be used later to store other coils or small vape items in it, if you wish. The coils are in a spongy type of material and they are laid out beautifully. Next to the coils, there is a bunch of pre-cut cotton that is more than enough for one wick job. Coil Master also included a card that has a building tutorial on it with pics, as well as all of the specs for all of the coils. Overall, I have to say that I am very impressed with the packaging and presentation of these coils. Beautifully done, Coil Master.
The Fused Claptons Coils included in the box are 3 mm in diameter and are made out of an Ni80. The resistance is .3 ohms. I mounted these coils in my Profile 24 because I wanted a quick ramp up, especially since I’m using my Profile 24 on a Rage squonker. The coils are built absolutely beautifully and they just seem to be well done. Definitely very comparable to coils I have received from custom coil builders here in the Ireland. The flavor on them was absolutely amazing and they are still going strong after 3 months of use. I’ve had these coils in my Profile 24 RDA for quite some time now. They clean up beautifully when I dry burn them and the flavor and clouds is still banging on them.
The Parallel Claptons are also made out of in Ni80 and they are 3 mm in diameter. Just like the Fused Claptons Coils, they also ohm out at .3 ohms. I installed these coils in my Rebirth Squonk RDA. If you read my review on that RDA, you know that it’s quite a flavorful atomizer. These coils went very well in that atomizer and the flavor was definitely a little better than some of the other builds that I have run in that RDA in the past.
These coils are also extremely well built and I have to say that I am very impressed with them. They do come with a copper clip on them and I would highly recommend that you install these in an RDA that has big enough terminals to fit the clip through it.F
When I first saw this coil in the box, I figured that this is going to be the most flavorful one out of the bunch. I saved this one because I wanted to run it in my Recurve Dual RDA. These coils are a little different than the other two because it does have some Kanthal in it. This is not a 100% Ni80 coil. It also has a diameter of 3 mm but it ohms out a little lower at 0.25 ohms.
I mounted these in the Recurve RDA and I was absolutely blown away by the flavor. The flavor and the clouds on this coil are just phenomenal. I have to say that I really enjoyed this one the best out of all three. I don’t want to take away from the other two coils because they are great in their own respect but this one was my favorite. This one is still going strong after a month of very heavy use. I have put a lot of juice through the Wotofo Recurve Dual RDA and this thing has just stood up beautifuly. It dry burns clean, almost to the point of looking brand new and the performance on it is just fantastic.
